Gene,

Please close Legacy 8 and browse to Documents>Legacy Family Tree>_AppData
and delete the legacy8.lng file.

Next browse to C-Drive>Program Files(X86)>Legacy8 and delete the
legacy8.lng file.

Now try downloading Legacy 8 update from our site:

http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp
