Yes, with the Legacy FamilySearch integration. You can move individuals either
way, to or from FS/FT. You can also move a GEDCOM into FT, but before it is
integrated into FT you have to individually ensure that each person is not
already in FT, and then link the person in the correct place. FT ‘quarantines’
each individual in the GEDCOM until the integration is done. So, yes, you can
enter groups into FT, but you have to handle each one individually. If part of
the group are already there, I prefer to enter the others with Legacy FT. If
none are there, it can be done either way. If you decide to put in a GEDCOM I
can help you find the place to upload the file.

FS is trying to ensure that the new entries do not cause further problems, and
I applaud their efforts. Almost everywhere I look in my databases on FT I find
duplicates and vital statistics that need correction. I probably have 40,000
names I feel some responsibility for, and it takes about an hour to correct one
family.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Any Way to Transfer Family Tree from Legacy to
FamilySearch.org?

Is there any way (from within Legacy Family Tree 8.0) to transfer my family
tree to FamilySearch.org?
