Hi Ginny,

You need to decide what you want to share on Ancestry and then make sure
only those parts of your database are included.

I choose only to include vital events and also remove the living.
Perhaps I'm over protective of privacy but it's pretty easy to work out
the names of numbers of the "Living" on Ancestry if they have ancestors
entered.

You may or may not want to include all your sources. I used to remove
all sources and then autosource with a general source indicating the
major source types I use. That requires exporting without any sources,
importing then exporting again with an autosource.

You really need to decide what you want to share on Ancestry and before
uploading, check that what you thought would be omitted has been omitted.
