There's an extensive article in our Knowledge Base at
http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00401 which discusses
ways of customizing Windows and Legacy to help with visual
impairments. A lot of the customizing choices depends on the visual
difficulty as we all seem to need something different, so there will
be some trial and error to find out what "fits" for your friend's
friend.

Legacy does not do well with Windows High Contrast and that's been
reported to the programmers to see if it's something they can resolve.
