You always want to enter surnames in Legacy in Initial Caps. The names can be printed in reports as all upper case is you desire.
There are lots of names that should not be entered as all upper case: McDonald and any other Mc or Mac at beginning of last name. Others might be DelaConcepion, La Font, etc Try it, you will like it.
