There is no digest option on this mailing list. You, however, have the power to manipulate your incoming mail automatically using a rule/filter - the name varies according to the program or service you're using, but the effect is the same.
I use a filter to identify incoming list mail (by the To: address) and move it to another folder. Busy lists (like this one) get their own folder in my mailbox, others get lumped together. If you use Gmail at their web site, which has labels instead of folders, there are still ways to manage the mail. The end result is that mail that is not sent specifically to me (ie, mailing lists) do not end up in the Inbox, but sit elsewhere out of the way until I'm ready to read it. Until then, I can happily ignore it all. I wrote some instructions on how to do this many years ago, for a different mailing list - you can adapt them to any mailing list by substituting the appropriate list address and giving the folder an appropriate name. You'll find them here - http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wendyh65/How-to.htm#RuleFilter Hope this helps. :-) Wendy Karen Howard wrote on 1/06/2015 12:49: > Is there a way to get a daily digest of this user group so that I get emails > once a day instead of numerous times. > > Karen Howard > Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
