A check of your mail header shows you are running AVG antivrus. A quick check on Google shows a number of problems Eudora has with AVG. (That is one of the reasons I dumped AVG and use Avast.) Since you appear to be the only one having this problem I would suggest contacting Qualcom and asking them why their program is misbehaving.

That tells me your best option would be to dump Qualcom's Eudora and load Thunderbird.
