Barton, Citing your sources is an art not an exact science and ESM herself will tell you this. You have some leeway as long as all of the essential elements are present (can someone come behind you and easily find the source based on the information you provided). Here is how I cite wills in bound volumes.

If the will is in a bound volume, she wants you to cite a “series” – the larger group within which the particular will book is found. I don’t really see the point of this – if you have the will book number, that should be enough. Legacy’s source template based on this section asks for the series too – understandably, since it’s based on EE’s format. I did not ask for the series when I ordered the will and I don’t particularly want to call or email the Fairfield County, Ohio Probate Court them to get that information.
