Your media did NOT get backed up because you the drive is NOT NTFS and the media backup is over 4GB’s.
As for using NTFS USB drives for your back up, they are much better than the FAT 32, as they can store larger files, over 4GB in size. Now if you are trying to save to a small thumb drive, then that is a different story. I would get an REAL external drive of at least 250 GB’s if not larger. This would allow you to backup most any system and/or family files and media. Your media file most likely is going to be over 4GB’s. Since the media file is over 4 GB’s that is why you are getting the error message. Did you read the last paragraph? The error will also occur if attempting to save a backup file greater than 4gb on a disk formatted with the FAT32 file system. You must use the NTFS disk format if files are larger than 4gb.
