I searched my file for death notes and here are some of the entries I found…

Cornelius appears on the 1839 Perry County, Mississippi tax roll but does not
appear on the 1840 tax roll or on the 1840 census so it is assumed that he died
between these two dates.

The editor indicates that the page was torn, only the day and month was
readable.

The index has the death location as Jezhoffen but I can't find this. The
microfilm shows this is the church book from Dietenheim so this is most likely
Jetzhöfe just to the west of Dietenheim.

He was born in Burgbracht but christened in Hitzkirchen. It is likely they
lived in Burgbracht so that is where I have set his death location. His death
place was recorded in the Hitzkirchen church book.

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] adding death cause in notes

Makes perfect logical sense. Birth notes are entered on the Birth tab. Marriage
notes are entered on the Marriage tab. And death notes are entered on the
Medical Notes tab.

So if someone were to have been killed in an automobile accident, hit by a
freight train, or kicked by a wild horse, that info is to be considered a
Medical note. Hmmmm….

OK, after that little poke in parody, I have to ask this serious question.
Since most of us have some sort of Death Event such as a Burial or Cemetery
interment, I’m wondering just what kind of info is appropriate for the Death
Notes tab.
