Hi Maurice, Yes it can be done.
First you'll need to use the Legacy Backup for Media to collect the media for each family file. (File - Backup File - the Media section) Then unzip it into your new media folder for that family file (you use your computer to do the unzip, not Legacy) Then in Legacy with the right Family File open, go to Options - Customise 6.2 and select your new media folder for that family file. That may be all you need to do to have all the media relinked. Check by running Tools - Media Relinker. (actually it would be a good idea to run this before you start to make absolutely sure all the media is linked to start with). If the Media Relinker reports broken links, use it to relink making sure you choose the copy of the media in the appropriate media folder. Once you've done this for all your files, you can delete the media in the folder they're in now. So long as you don't rename media files or remove them from your computer, the Media Relinker can find them.
