It works like all mailing lists.
Someone posts a question and someone answers.

Sorry you had trouble working it out. Seems you've succeeded. There's a
link to the etiquette guidelines at the bottom of every post.

Threading only works if people start a new email when they post rather
than replying to an unrelated post and changing the subject line.
Threading is also somewhat dependent on what people are using to write
their emails.

The posts on this list are archived with the link to the archives at the
bottom of each post.

Note there is far more action these days on the Legacy User Group
Facebook page.

If you don't like Facebook, you don't have to Friend people to join
Groups on Facebook. You just need a Facebook Account.
