The "DOC 00008" is what I put in the File ID field in Legacy.
Here is a search for "fred crighton" using the people index of RDF:
1 Beningfield, Wilfred Reuben M 1294
Death 31 Mar 1942 RSA, Natal, Zululand, Empangeni
F- Beningfield, Reuben M- Crighton, Martha 1287 /1286 /
DOC 00695 ( )
2 Crighton, Alfred M 17071
Census 1891 ENG, London
M- Crighton, Elizabeth GF- Betjeman, George C. 01583 /17072 /
grandson aged 2 months born Middlesex DOC 02291 ( )
3 Crighton, Arthur Edwin M 1563
Marriage 3 Oct 1936
W- Douglas, Marion Helene 1564 / /
Fred Crighton's family Bible DOC 00008 ( )
4 Crighton, Arthur Edwin M 1563
Birth 14 Jul 1905 RSA, TVL, Johannesburg
/ /
Fred Crighton's family Bible DOC 00008 ( )
Note that it has picked up the "fred" in "Wilfred"
But it also has the DOC number which I have put in the File ID field in
Legacy.
The number in the top right-hand corner is the RIN of that person, which also
appears in Legacy (which is why I never reorganise RINs in Legacy, and never
was even tempted to use FTM).
