Yes, that is what Find-a-Grave is there for, and I record the information
from it in much the same way as you do, except that I don't always pot it in
the "source text" field. I sometimes copy and paste it into the "Burial
Notes" field, which is where I often put the text of obituaries from other
sources as well.
