No, no, no --- you don't understand -- I already tried all of those!!
 
This was just a plain text list with the month heading and a list of dates for every day. Nothing complicated. I am quite certain this was iin Legacy as I haven't used any other program for a long time. Do you suggest I try another program? Which one?

Reports > Other Reports > Calendar List may be the report you are
looking for. Note that this variation on the Calendar is not available
from the Publishing Centre. the only calendar available there is the
Calendar Creator report which uses a conventional calendar layout for
the dates.
