I have often been told that TMG was an "event-based program" and tried it out for this purpose (in between crashes), but it appeared to be impossible to enter an event without entering a person first. I really would like to see an event-based program, and I don't think Legacy is it, nor do I think that Legacy should be manipulated in order to be able to do such things, because programs that try to do everything end up doing nothing well. Legacy is a lineage-linked genealogy program, and it does that well. It does not write books, or keep track of events, though it does enable you to export material for writing books and record events that individuals and families were involved in. The reason I am writing about this here is that I rather hope that Millennia, or someone, anyone, would write an event-based program, which could, if necessary, exchange information with Legacy.
