Dave Keeney,

Very clever, Dave. The Media Relinker seems to do the same thing. That
approach will be very useful to me, as I have thousands of scanned images, most
of which are linked to multiple persons & events.

If I understand your problem correctly this is what I do.

1. Temporarily change the name of the census. I usually prepend an "x" to the
name.

2. Check the media links from Legacy. Options -> Customize -> 6. Locations ->
Test All Media Folders ..." with the "Make a list of all missing media files.
This will create a text file with a list of everything that that file is
associated with.

3. Do what ever you need to do with the list.

4. Change the name back to the original, and do the Media Test again to make
sure everything is back to normal.

This is why one needs to manage their own "media" within subfolder for each

Subject: [LegacyUG] Digitized Images

Hey,

I have thousands of digitized images referenced in my Legacy database. Is
there a way to identify a particular document and which legacy family the
document is referenced in. For instance, I have linked a copy of the 1850
Census to several of my ancestors. Can I find out which ancestors reference
this particular 1850 census document?
