I'll assume you want to look in General Notes and Event Notes, but you
should be able to see how to include Research or other Notes.
Go to Search>Find and select the Detailed Search Tab. In the first 3
boxes at the top select Individual - Notes-General - Contains and in the
4th box type Indians.
Now click Second Condition and select Or. You then select or type the
same as above except to select Event Notes in the second box.
You can now repeat for a third condition using Notes-Research if you want.
Lastly, make sure Clear List before this Search is selected, then click
Create List.
Search is very powerful and its well worth spending some time getting to
grips with how to use it to its fullest extent. Note that you can
search for Individuals or Marriages which satisfy either/any of 2 or 3
conditions or those which satisfy both of 2 or all of 3. If you need to
utilise more than 3 conditions you do the Searching in 2 passes, adding
the results of the second pass to those of the first.
