It's about 7:15pm Monday as I start typing this reply.

I'll be around for another couple of hours, and will check for any posts waiting to be released through the evening and immediately before I go to bed.

I have no plans to go anywhere tomorrow, so will be keeping an eye on the moderations throughout the day.

I have been having a conversation with one former LUG member today, who is still receiving posts after she has left the list. It appears there is a holdup somewhere along the line, and she is still receiving posts that went to the list before she left, two days after she left. That's nothing to do with LUG, but somewhere along the delivery line beyond our control.

Wendy

PS 7:21pm now that I'm finished typing. ;-)

It is slower because we have temporarily made the list a moderated list which means messages are held in a queue until they have been reviewed by the list managers and released for transmission. Wendy and I the moderators but we are not sitting here doing nothing but watching the queue, it is a weekend and we both have a life outside the list.

I have been checking every couple of hours today and releasing messages that have arrived. I am now off to bed (it is after midnight where I live) and, unless Wendy, who lives in New Zealand, is online and releasing messages it will be 6-8 hours before I look at the queue again.

Since we moved over to Mailman last week, some people have noticed they
are not receiving copies of their own posts like they used to.

I thought that was happening to me, but then discovered that my posts were
appearing a day or two later.

Perhaps the new list is just a bit slowe than the old one
