I just posted this on the Legacy Users Group Facebook Page but I thought I
would post it here as well.

TIP OF THE DAY (Legacy Staff) - BYU's Relative Finder

DISCLAIMER - If you do find a connection to someone, you will still need to
prove every parent-child relationship up one side and then back down the
other before you can say that the connection is true. Having said that, it
is really fun to use Relative Finder :)

To be able to use this, you must have a FamilySearch login and you have to
be linked in the Family Tree. At the very least you will need you, your
parents, your grandparents and your great-grandparents linked (possibly your
2nd great-grandparents if you are really young). Once you get to that level
other researchers should have already linked those people to their parents
even if you haven't.

Now go to BYU's Relative Finder website here https://www.relativefinder.org
Login using your FamilySearch login info. Now you can see who all you are
related to that is famous. You can also create your own groups which is a
ton of fun. You can see who of your friends you are related to.

I created a group just for us. Here is the invitation for you to join:
https://www.relativefinder.org/#/groups/91743/join  The password is "LUG"
(no quotes).

Once you join this group will be on the list of groups you can compare
yourself to. It will take a while for enough people to join the group where
you will start seeing your matches so check back often.

Let me know if we are kin :)
