Before the recent updates, when I used a new computer at a library, if I
connected just one picture or document to an individual bygoing to the correct
directory, all of the media would automatically be connected. It was so
simple, can you folks at Legacy restorethat feature?
Now when I go through the media connect process, it brings up duplicate images
asking if this is the correct image. That works wellfor awhile, then I get an
error message and the whole program crashes, making me begin again (with the
same result) or forego havingmy images connected. This is extremely
frustrating.
Any solution?
Carol

This certainly seems to be something that could be easily programmed around.
How about a dialog box that tells the user that the folder has been temporarily
changed to the default when it can't find the user specified location?

Legacy must have a media location it can access. If it cannot access the one
defined in Options it must reset the folder to something which is available,
that is the default.

Hello

I have put all my media on an ext hard drive.

Under Options/Customize I have listed the media file on F drive.

Problem, if I open Legacy without plugging in my Genealogy ext hard

drive, Legacy automatically changes my media file storage back to C drive.

There are times I just need to look up something and do not need photos

and documents.

Why isn't this location change to the F drive permanent? or how do I

make it so.

Thank you in advance for any help
