Hi Linda, If you create the whole file as a cvs, you can then sort by location, cut and paste just the specific location to another worksheet and use that.
By cutting and pasting specific locations to another worksheet, you preserve your original one so that you can use it over and over for different locations. And you can also sort it by surname, then location as well Spreadsheets are very versatile - I use them for all sorts of stuff. Have fun! Martha
