Per many prior emails, it is the email programs people use, doing this. Yahoo
is notorious for it. There was another one as well but the domain eludes me at
this time.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Colors for Children - posted as attachment
Can someone please explain
why posts from subscribers are now coming the attachments to
the email? Many people (including myself) are very cautious
about opening attachments from a ListServ where attachments
are not generally permitted.
Thank you

The original message to the list is in the attachment.
This action is required because of the DMARC Reject/Quarantine Policy
imposed by some email providers. Users who want to send messages
without conversion to attachments should use a different email address
for their subscription.
Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require
this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email
providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.
