Pat,
If you can establish the date when you made the Newfilename, then you
can do a search
Search - Detailed Search
Individual - modified date - after - date you created the file (or
better the day before).
Then you could use split screen to compare just those people.
This would be the easiest way given you say you only used it for a
couple of days.
To find the date, look at the Newfilename.fdb in Windows Explorer/File
Explorer. Right click on it and choose Properties and look for the
creation date.
You could export that group of people who have been modified to a new
Legacy file and then import that file into Oldfilename and use
Intellishare Merge but you might find the Split screen easier if you're
not used to merging as you'd probably be presented with lots more
possible duplicates before you were done.

Oops, I just realized that a couple of months ago I decided to change
my filename so I did that by saving it to a different filename. But
several days later, after making some changes in the Newfilename I
went back to using my Oldfilename.
That means there is info in Newfilename that is not in Oldfilename.
So-o-o -- is there a way of comparing the two files for discrepancies

Does that make sense??
