Hi Kathy,
I expect what Cathy has suggested will solve your problem. Please let us
know how you get on with it.
Legacy does not calculate relationships on the fly any more, as it did
in previous versions. It's too complicated, and would slow the program
down considerably. It can do some, but will lose track eventually.
So you need to redo Set Relationships periodically, to refresh and
recalculate.
Hope this helps. :-)

Two things to try:
1) Reset relationships (Tools - Set Relationships)
If that doesn't work
2) check that there aren't two of her or two relationships between her
and your 2nd great grandfather.

What have I set up incorrectly? Shouldn't this be "2nd great
grandmother" instead of "wife of 2nd great grandfather"; I even went
in and marked 'biological child' on their child, my 'great
grandmother'. Others in my tree show '2nd great grandmother' as the
label, so it's not an across the board issue.
It makes it seem like the 'wife' is not my direct ancestor but perhaps
a 2nd wife. And I do not have any other spouses for either of them.
Thanks for any clues you can give me on this,
Kathy
