I hardly ever go to my Facebook page, this is what I do:
I have notifications checked with "all posts" for Legacy and for the
other genealogy groups I have joined. I get the notice in my email and
only go to Facebook when I want to read all the comments. The ones I am
not interested in, I just delete.
If it is a post I want to keep, I save it.
If I want to follow that post for a few days, I click the arrow at top
left of that post and check "turn on notifications for this post" When
I have read enough, I turn the notifications off.
