If you look at the 1880 census for Florence Smith, her father was a
Farmer...Although very poorly written, this could say "Farmers daughter"...

Subject: [LegacyUG] Help, please!

In Ancestry's Collection: "All Michigan, Marriage Records, 1867-1952" results
for Drinkwater. The entry William L. Drinkwater & Florence Smith.

entry # 230, for Florence's occupation. Can any one tell me the word before
daughter? Perhaps it is a word for Orphan? Both her parents are listed
as unknown.Any one have a solution OR suggestion? I'm at a loss to understand
what it is.

Any help is deeply appreciated.

Joyce
