Just to verify:
You are NOT talking about the FAMILY tab ON THE SCREEN, correct?
What is on that tab? Does it have BORN, BAPT, DIED, BURIED, and xxx? (I
forget the default for the last one, I've changed mine)
If you ARE talking about this FAMILY screen, if you double click on the
BORN/BAPT/DIED/etc titles (or, in your case, double click on the
CS/BAPT/DIED/etc titles), a pop-up comes up where you can change what is
displayed (you can pick what data item is shown AND/OR you can change
the text heading that appears to the left of the data).
Instead you are talking about REPORTS, FAMILY GROUP, FAMILY tab (or MY
TOOLBAR, REPORT MENU, FAMILY tab) - in that report instead of BORN in
the left column you are seeing CS. Is that correct? So for the
headings under each person you are seeing:
CS
BAPTIZED
DIED
BURIED
FATHER
MARRIAGE (or SPOUSE or . . . )
Unfortunately I can't find any way of changing those headings. I tried
changing what is on the FAMILY tab on the SCREEN to see if that impacted
the report - but it does NOT appear that the two are related. Probably
one of the default install files got "mucked up" somehow . . . but I
have no idea which file that would be.

I assume you've checked that it hasn't been entered in the birth date
spot for the Individual.
Try resetting the Report Options - the Reset button is at the bottom
right of the Report screens.
OR are you using family group sheet to mean Family View? And you're
talking about the labels there? If so, Right Click on a label and
customise. There is a Defaults button on the Customise screen to
return default labels.
