Hi Dick, Maybe it is because we use the events differently. I record 1 event per source so I know exactly which source said what. If I have 4 sources that show birthdates, I would have 4 birth events.
The "official" birth, baptism, death, burial dates reflect the cumulative information that I've found, but the events show all the possibilities including the sources that have typos, or are incomplete. Thanks for your patience explaining it to me.
