This is my first post. Forgive any naivety.
I am based in Sydney and have previously used ancestry.com to create my family
tree and found it very easy to use as it hand fed me all the way with the
trembling leaves hints. However I then converted my tree to GEDCOM and have
downloaded to Legacy 8.
I am not sure how to proceed in Legacy with identifying new family members or
adding new info to existing members, other than minor spelling errors etc. I
thought the search function would be the way to go, however it seems I may have
to add Australian web sites to the source data base. I have had no luck with
the built in web sites, which seem to be usa skewed.
I would appreciate any direction.
I have a manual, but it is very detailed and not easy to follow.
