I realise Legacy FT is a USA-centric programme, and I'm not clued up with usual terminology in genealogy programmes whatever their bias.
Can someone please explain how Legacy handles / describes situations where people have changed names, either by a Lastname used in practice / everyday usage, or by legally changing their name (by what is known in Australia / UK as Deed Poll)?
