Amy,
You can get "Divorced" on Family View so long as you've entered the
Marriage Status in the Marriage Information screen by using the settings
in Options - Customise 8.10
Shirley - re on Descendant Charts, the only really viable way at the
moment is to edit the Chart when produced.
If you want the better looking PDF chart then you can either use a PDF
reader to add comments or you can use a PDF editor. Microsoft Word now
edits PDFs.
The problem with having a setting to add the Marriage Status is that you
probably don't want the other statuses on the Chart.

Yes I didn't catch the "charts" need. I did mean to just put divorced
in the marriage date place so it shows in the family view.

Dear Amy,
Thanks for replying. I received a reply from a person at Legacy tech
support, who said that there is currently no option to indicate
divorce and that I should write to tech support so that the
programmers might consider revising the charts to indicate divorce.
I'm unclear as to what you meant about writing it in the date
section. If you meant in the marriage section, I did that but it
still doesn't show in the charts. If that's not what you meant, I'd
like to hear back from you with clarification. Thanks again.

You could just type it in the date section and if it comes up a
problem just over ride it.

I posted the following message several days ago but have no
received a reply:
In the descendant standard chart, I'd like to show those who are
divorced. In the marriage section, I've chosen "divorced" but do
not know the divorce dates. What should I do for "divorced" to
show up in the chart? Thanks in advance for your help.
