Not sure if this would work for you, but I create a source for each image and then attach the image to the source. All the relevant “documentation” for the image is contained in the source fields.
Donald Quigley Escondido, CA <https://donquigley.net/> Quigley Doyle Family Tree From: LegacyUserGroup [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pat Hickin Sent: Friday, September 23, 2016 11:31 AM To: LegacyUserGroup <[email protected]> Subject: [LegacyUG] Sources for images Can someone explain to me why it is that Legacy doesn't have an efficient way for adding sources for images. Recently I compiled a 100+-page paper on my paternal line, connected families, and their interactions with Native Americans. I had realized there were a lot and compiled them by doing a search in Notes and Events for "Indians." I was amazed at how much I had -- even more than I'd expected. I've sent it to family members and posted it on Wikitree: http://www.wikitree.com/photo.php/7/7e/Prickett_family_resources-15.pdf and it has been suggested that I publish it, but I don't know how on earth I'd ever be able to retrieve the sources for all the images.
