Sherry, Thanks for your help.

Despite my examining at length (perhaps 20-30 minutes) both the CHM help and
the PDF help that I purchased, I did not find any description of the Print
function within Options for Timelines.
But now that you have alluded to it, I do see the Print item hidden within the
Options button and I am grateful for its discovery. As a guide – my original
enquiry – it is entirely sufficient and I can create a PDF.
I will possibly code my own parsing and printing, as its title is fixed to
“Timeline List” for all timelines, and its spill-over of item text is annoying,
as is the date formatting (eg, 1800-00-00), but with my PDF editing software it
will be simple to change the generic title as an interim.

You don't need to do any of this stuff! It might be a little time consuming,
but for each timeline you want a copy of, highlight it, click on Edit and in
the Timeline Editor window, click on Options > Print. Most likely you're only
interested in having some of the timelines printed out.
This is explained in the Help file. I can't begin to tell you how many
questions I've answered on how to do something when it's been right there.....
