Stan,
You can change the header "Noted events in [HisHer] life were:"
I tend to use "Some details of [FirstName]'s life:
You can change sentence definitions for each event type.
This is what your suggestion looks like.
You do that in View - Master Lists - Event Definition OR click the
button when you're adding or editing an event. This is for all events of
this type.
If you need a special for a particular instance of an event, you use the
Sentence Override.
The sentences can include conditions. See the Help for how.
eg: one of my census sentences with the condition at the end that if
there are Notes add a carriage return before them.
[FirstHeShe] was recorded on the census of [Date] [atPlace] in the
household of [Desc].[Sources][:if [Notes]::[CR][Notes]]

Using the following as an example...
Under Wording 1 in the Descendant Book Options, the option for
Individual Events reads "Noted events in [HisHer] life were:"
I'm wondering if it is possible to set up a conditional statement here
so, for example, If [something] were true, Then [use this wording]
Else [use this alternative wording]. In other words along the lines of
a conditional statement I use in the event definitions:
«b»[EventName]«/b» [Date]. [Place]. [:if [Notes]::[CR] [Desc] -
[Notes][Sources]::[CR] [Desc][Sources]]
