I create PDF reports. They can be printed or examined on screen by the recipients, and can also be cut-and-paste transferred if it is really necessary. Of course this no substitute for complete data transfer via some ideal GEDCOM format and 100% capable software each end (Windows, Mac). Another possibility - seriously - is for Mac users to buy Parallels or a similar program that allows them to run the exact same version of Legacy Family Tree that you are using. Not cheap - but also not nearly as costly as a subscription to Ancestry.
