The Newberry Library Atlas of Historical County Boundaries is back up and running after a prolonged site maintenance of about a year. This means that the maps associated with the County Verifier are also back up and running :)
Go to Tools > US County Verifier > US County List. Pick any county and then click the map icon at the bottom (left icon). You now have a ton of info at your fingertips including the "View Interactive Map" which works similarly to Ani-Map though you can't plot towns before you change years.
