Thank you for responding to this query -- it was helpful. I'm able to
add folks to FT now using LegacyFS.
Since I'm using the same Legacy software build before and after the
problem appears, it does seem fairly obvious that the bug must be on the
other side of the interface. However, I don't think I have a way to know
if they know about it, unless the issue is brought up here -- well, at
least as long as I don't have a Facebook account. :-)

FamilySearch is having issues with the Family Tree. Their programmers
are aware of it have been working since yesterday to get it fixed.
They are hoping to have it fixed today. Until then you won't be able
to add people to FamilySearch using Legacy or even on their website
itself.
