The FAG tools in Legacy will let you get to the memorial for a person
with a single click as Geoff showed in his demo. All you can do there is
view the memorial, perform a search etc. that anyone can perform. If you
want to use the features at FAG that are available to members you will
still need to sign in to your account. I am not a member of FAG so I do
not know what "extra" features an account holder has.
The same "rule" applies to the sites like MyHeritage and Find My Past
which are providing the new Hints service. You can get to the site and
see what record(s) they found but before they let you view the details
of those records you need an account and in most cases since these are
paid sites you need to have a paid subscription that covers the kind of
records you want to view. FamilySearch also requires you to have an
account but that site provides free accounts and allows you to view all
their records without payment.

I have a question about the new version. I watched the short video about
some of the new features. It shows Jeff just clicking on the tab for
Fiind-a-Grave and going right to it. I am a member of FAG and must always
sign in each time I use it. Does this mean that we don't have to sign in
to these websites anymore? What about all the other tabs that are now
included to places like Ancestry and Family Search? I am a member of
Ancestry and I don't remember what other tabs were added.
Thanks
Margaret
