A quick look for that person in each copy is a very fast and easy way to
confirm that.   No sorting and comparing,  no checking RINs.
If that person exists or is missing in BOTH copies, then you need he more
difficult process.
Good luck.

[email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Is there a way to order the
RIN column in the Index tab in a file?

I run legacy 8 on both
my desktop and laptop.  Recently I looked at the statistics of the
same family file and there is one more individual on the laptop
than on the desktop in the family file. I would like to identify
this individual.  I suspect it is a baby I added when I was using
      my laptop away from home.

      1.  Is there any way to order the RIN numbers in the Index tab
from lowest to highest rather than alphabetic order since it could
the highest number RIN.  (I know it could have filled in a vacant
      RIN).

      2.  Is there any way of dating the last entered individual?

      3.  Is there any other way to identify this individual?

Help was hard to use to try and find the answer, because I didn't
      know what to search on.
