It has nothing to do with Legacy; it is a Windows restriction.Windows' promised
fix to that does not work.

The maximum length for a path (file name and its directory route) — also known
as MAX_PATH — has been defined by 260 characters.

That includes all the keystrokes to get to your destination file. For instance:

D:\Pictures\Genes Images\Churches\Santa Clara a Velha Mosteiro.jpg

D:\Pictures\My Relatives\George's\Margaret\Gregory\Samuel\1997-2007

Spaces take more keystrokes than dashes or undescores.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Two Questions?

First, someone said there is a new Find a Grave source Template. Well I can't
find it. Will someone tell be the # or name of the template? I searched on find
a grave with no results.
Second, How long are file paths allowed to be? Where can I find instruction on
file paths & Legacy>

Thank you so much for any help you can give.

Regards,
Joyce
