Until 1752, the calendar year began on March 25th, not January 1st. In 1622,
the third month was May, so the 14th of May.

Cheers, Carolyn

Subject: [LegacyUG] Julian Calendar in Quaker Records

I've got a lot of Quakers in the 17th century. They use the month number. Does
anyone know the Juliam date translated from Quaker: 14 of Third Month 1622? I
tried to find it on Family search, but couldn't find it.

Thanks,
Joyce
