Jenny, can you please explain what you mean by "change the entry in that field when creating my master source?" Which field? I don't understand how "online image" relates to any field in the template, to begin with, so I don't know what field I am supposed to change or what I should change it to.

No, an online image is an actual digital image of an original document. If the words have been copied (typed or OCR'd) then it is a Transcription. The distinction is important because you cannot be assured of the accuracy of a transcription.
