I do use DropBox, but have not done so very long, so I may have had the two
computers on at the same time. Now how do I fix this issue? Somewhere in my
searching for what might be the problem I saw two sets of files with different
paths but both on the C drive. One was for media and one for I’m assuming the
data. Would it be safe to delete on set or the other to repair the conflicting
file issue; then rename the files? Or am I way out in left field; I’m a novice
when it comes to all this.

Looks like you may have had the file open using two computers at the same time
using DropBox or some cloud storage.

If so, the cardinal RULE is: Use only one computer at a time to work on your
cloud stored database.

So, if you have your file open on one computer, be sure to completely exit
Legacy before opening the file on another computer. You also need to allow
some time for the database file to sync with the cloud and all computers.
Normal a few minutes, but depends on the cloud service and your internet speed.
With Dropbox, you normal see a file sync notification in upper right of
screen. Other cloud services may not be as user friendly or sync as fast a
DropBox.

Greetings,

I see that my legacy file for some unknown reason to me, the following now
appears as an insert to the fdb and media file name .

What have I done, and how do I correct this? All seems to be working fine
using this file, but I’ve done something wrong as I certainly did not add the
questioned inserted statement to the file name.
