I found this in the list of reported problems and have added this report
to the issue. The same codes will also appear on the Notes Tab of Name
List/Search Results lists.
I think it is just that the Individual Information display does not
include the program code to convert the attribute codes to display text
with those attributes.

Using Ver. 9.0 but also previous versions…
When adding an event to an individual, for example an Obituary, I use
the “built-in” Bold and Italics feature icons for some of the text in
the “Notes” window.
Everything works great when printing reports, charts, etc. (and maybe I
shouldn’t complain) but I can’t help noticing that every time I open the
“Individual’s Information” window, in the “Events/Facts” area that I see
the “Age”, “Event/Fact”, and “Date” are normal text but under
“Desc/Place/Notes” I find HTML Code for the text that I had changed in
the “Notes” window.
For example <b>Dudley Do-Right</> <i>1910-1950</i>
WHY does this code show up in the “Individual’s Information” window and
is there a way to prevent it somewhere in settings or any of the actual
program files perhaps?
It’s not a problem, just a bug that I can’t help noticing…
