Hello Pat,

I am fairly new here, but am a very long-time user of PCs and have an official
Microsoft qualification.

In the “CUSTOMISE” (in “Legacy”) there is a facility to edit where your files
are saved. If you then go to that folder using “Windows Explorer” <Win + E>
or via “Start” menu (etc), you can see what files you have in that folder.

Under “View”, be sure to select “Details” otherwise the column view will not
show.

If the column “Date last saved” is not showing,

Do the following:-

<view> <group by>, then tick <choose columns> and inside that tick the column
headers you want or require. Be sure to include “date Last Saved”. You can
use the “Move Up” / “Move Down” arrow controls in the “Choose Details” window
to alter the positioning of the columns.

Note: in the “Show/Hide” section at the top of the main Windows Explorer
window, it would be a good idea to tick “File Name Extensions” so that you can
select the right type of data file. (Microsoft always seems to want to hide
the “file types” What I think of that can not be printed.)

At this stage I have not worked out what Legacy file type is which and I have
not found a Legacy “Help” item with that info.

I want to generate a list of my Legacy files and have done so, BUT the dates do
not appear!! How come?

How can I get a list of files with dates last saved. Thanks!
