yes,
When you import a tree you can attach a Master Source to either every
person OR to every piece of information. Click the AutoSource button on
the Legacy Import screen.
When the sources are someone else's I actually prefer to edit each of
their Master Sources to read, at least in the Source List Name <person's
name> from xyz source. Then when I've seen the source for myself, I can
replace with my own source. I still leave them as one of the sources for
that person/piece of information.

Have created new tree by transcribing a copy of a Family Tree given to
me by a relative into Legacy 9.
When I complete all this I can then combine into my main Legacy Tree
with my 4000 thousand entries, so that this new tree will take all
these Source records into the relative entries.
