Bill,

May be best to uninstall and re-install on the new pc. I use Revo Uninstaller, and the max uninstall setting. Should be able to use the "restore" option to "load" Legacy.

I’ve made certain at Options, Customize 6.2 is set at correct file location.
Continue to get message that location not found.
   Any other suggestions?

On the Windows 10 laptop, open Legacy with your data file that is on the laptop
hard drive.
Then go in Legacy to Options - Customise 6.2 and set that folder to your media
folder on the new laptop hard drive.
That will probably do it.
If not, make sure the flash drive isn't connected to the Win 10 laptop and run
Tools - Media Relinker.
Provided the media hasn't been buried many many layers down so the path and
filename are over 260 characters, the Media Relinker will find them.

There is a problem if the laptop has recently updated to Fall Creators Update
and still has the windows.old folder as that is crashing the Media Relinker
scan.

However - just setting Options-Customise 6.2 will probably result in the Media
Relinker telling you there are no broken links.

Greetings,< BR> I need to move my media file from a Windows 7 laptop to a
Windows 10 laptop. I’ve copied both the data file and the media file to a flash
drive and successfully transferred the data file.
Somehow I’ve relinked the data file on Windows 10 laptop to the media file
on the flash drive. The media file is also on the Windows 10 laptop but can’t
relink. I’m at loss as to how to fix my problem with the media file? Any help
much appreciated and I’m a novice as to computer use.
