Yes creating a PDF is a Deluxe feature. However with the Standard
version you can Print to PDF. You just need a PDF printer installed on
your computer. I'd be surprised if you didn't have one already
installed. However there are various free ones you can use. I use the
one that comes with my free PDF reader - Foxit.

Many people can add information to a PDF these days at least via

For full d etails on the ancestors use Reports | Ancestor Book, and
then enable the Rich Text File in the lower right and then Create
to make
the file. But, the Ancestor Chart does not include an option for
RTF,
which
is annoying.
However, since RTF files are editable, I would normally create a PDF
version when sending information.
