You can add two sets of parents for someone. You can use the
Relationship to parents to show disproven or doubtful. You can use the
Privacy options for the disproven set to mark them Invisible so they're
in your file but not in your output.
There are many ways to handle this but you need more information and in
the end you need a Proof Statement to say why you prefer one over the other.

I have a Sarah Baldwin (____ - 1669).
Source A shows her father is Sylvester Baldwin.
I now find that Source B shows her parents are Richard Baldwin
and Isabell Harding. This is probably the realistic parentage of her.
How do I handle this? In her Notes? "Alt. Parents" would be nice,
but I do not see a way to do that.
Thank you.
You can create an event named Alt. Parents. Probably the easiest way
is to copy an existing Event sentence and modify it as required, but
you can start from scratch. Read all about creating a new Event by
selecting Event, Add from the Legacy Help index.
